Meet our Teachers
Lisa Herold Lisa@HighpointLittlePeoplePreschool.com Director
I started my career as a nurse, so caring for people is something I love. I have been at LPPS for 10 years teaching or assisting in every class we have. As the Director, my goal is to offer your child an exceptional learning experience here. I am always available if anyone has questions.
I have two children. My son, Bryan, who is 31, got married in the summer of 2015 and my daughter, Lindsay is now a senior at Green high school where she and I live.
I love to read, and am learning sign language - and have taught the children each year songs and words.
Teaching these small children is beyond a blessing. They have taught me much more than I will ever teach them. I look forward to meeting them and you. Its going to be a great year!
Sue Duffield Administrator and head teacher of Transitional Kindergarten
This will be my 22nd year with Little People Preschool and I love teaching! Seeing a child master a concept and the ensuing smile and confidence in themselves is worth all the effort. The fact that they are precious "little people" who make me smile is the added bonus. I believe all children deserve love and laughter while learning kindergarten readiness skills. Thank you for entrusting your child's formidable education to me.
I have four children and soon to be 6 grandchildren.
I enjoy bowling, reading, and finding great treasures at yard sales.
Katie Baker Teacher's Assistant for Transitional Kindergarten and Pre-K afternoon classes
I went Sandy Valley High School and then on to THE Ohio State University where I graduated with a degree in communications. I have been married for 12 years. We moved to Canal Fulton 8 years ago and both of our children attended Little People Preschool and now go to Northwest Local Schools.
I have always enjoyed working with children. I find it rewarding helping them learn and getting to watch them grow.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
Kim Spencer Transitional Kindergarten assistant
I am married with 2 children, who are now 22 and 23. Cassidy is a student at The Ohio State University. I started out as a sub with Little People Preschool 14 years ago and have been an assistant teacher now for 11 years.
Some things I like to do are go to the movies, shopping, and baking.
I have enjoyed all of the kids that I have taught over the years and it has been a blessing to be in their lives and watch them grow.
Rachel Hough Teacher
I am so excited to be a part if Little People Preschool! I have taught Sunday school for over 10 years and I am so happy to be joining such a wonderful school.
I live in New Franklin with my husband Jason and our son Jacob. We also have a dog named Cocoa, a bird named Charlie, chickens and ducks. In my free time I love to create art, diy around the house, read, cook, and travel.
I can't wait to see your little ones learn and grow! I will help them and love them the whole way through!
